What is SOAR?
SOAR is a statewide network of recovery community organizations (RCOs) and Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS-funded) peer recovery support centers (PRSCs). RCOs and PRSCs provide peer and other recovery support services. SOAR is a project of the Massachusetts Organization for Addiction Recovery (MOAR) and funded by the Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

What does SOAR do?
SOAR serves as a hub to connect and unify RCOs/PRSCs to work together and share information essential to peer recovery. It provides training and technical assistance, brings these entities together around issues important to recovery, and supports expanding recovery support services across the state.

SOAR is:
a Project of the the Massachusetts Organization for Addiction Recovery (MOAR);
a Partner with the Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS);
and Funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration .
